Campus to Careers works closely with employers in the environmental and energy fields to find talented and dedicated young professionals, who will become the next generation of innovators and leaders.
We actively recruit high quality candidates through NCSE's University Affiliate Program, a network of over 150 universities and colleges across the US, from a range of possible majors including environmental studies and sciences, life sciences, engineering and public policy.
We are also committed to increasing cultural diversity in the environmental field. We work closely with Minority Serving Institutions, as well as The National Society for Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) and The American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC).
The value of Campus to Careers program to federal and state agencies, businesses and NGOs is three-fold:
- Proactive sourcing and recruiting of committed, high-performing interns.
- A strong commitment and demonstrated success in supporting and increasing diversity in the environmental field.
- Cost effective management with no motivation toward income generation beyond the costs of operating the program. Currently 73.87% of every funding dollar goes directly to intern support and payroll.
